In an event specifically aimed at members of the Canberran disabled community, Jammin’ the Carpark delivered a fun afternoon of inclusive and accessible live music.
Held at Open Circles in Belconnen, Burnish played a laid-back set, followed by Canberra collective Muesli, and established international artist Kim Yang.
Special guest Emma Davidson, MLA – the Assistant Minister for Families and Community Services, Minister for Disability, Justice Health and Mental Health attended on the day to lend her support and connect with members of the local community.
“After the incredible success this event achieved, we look forward to the future and the potential to maximise this musical space and any festival possibilities for the disabled community, for music is a powerful and harmonious tool that when delivered in good spirits – can make a big difference in all peoples.”
