Good CompanyROAR! at Wanderlust
Description
ROAR invited audience members into a genre-blending, fringe flirting spectacular and a peek into the taboo held at Wanderlust in Mitchell.
Marlene Caludine Radice and Miriam Slater conceptualised the show as a contemporary homage to the performance origins of Butoh dance in Japan and in partnership with Wanderlust hired TJ and Zsa LaFine to perform.
After ROAR finished, 41 patrons had purchased a full night ticket allowing them access to Wanderlust as a club.
“There was a wonderful sense of excitement and curiosity amongst the audience having permission to access such a venue, many for the first time.”
